Fruit is the main character
A fun wine to enjoy without any pretension other than having a good time. All fresh red fruit on the nose with just enough mouthfeel to give it some structure. What in the area is known as a long drinking wine.
Age: 20-30 years
Area: vineyard selection distributed throughout the D.O. Ribera del Duero. 50% vineyards in Soria.
Soil: Mix, sands and clays interspersed with calcareous sands.
Climate: Continental with Mediterranean features, characterized by long and cold winters and hot and shorts summers.
Fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature between 26-28º to maintain the potential of the fruit.
Malolactic fermentation in tanks and aging during three months in new barrels, a small contribution that accompanies the wine and enhances all its qualities.
White meats, roast lamb or kid in particular, sweetbreads and mushrooms, rice dishes, particularly those containing meat such as rabbit paella, rice black pudding and any dish seasoned with black truffle.
Ideal for tapas, as well as a good companion for white and red meats, roasts, stews, mushrooms, classic rices, semi-cured and cured cheese, sausages or black pudding.
Beautiful cherry color with violet highlights. Great intensity of aromas of red fruit and spices. Light and fresh in the mouth, it is a tasty and fun wine that invites you to have another glass.
It never fails, tasty wine. Very expressive on the nose: red fruit, cocoa, some balsamic. On the palate it’s fresh, unctuous and sweet. Invites you to keep drinking
I loved it. Paired with chorizo and cheese. Medium, young wine. A perfect choice of wine.
Wine with a lot of fruit and “fun” as the label of the wine says, very tasty.
